He has competed in a multitude of sports, including triathlon, swimming, hockey, mixed martial arts and soccer. Some of Steve’s most recent accomplishments include qualifying for and racing to a Canadian top 15 in age group in the Olympic Distance Triathlon World Championships, that took place in Vancouver in June of 2008, winning the Angus Glen 10km race overall in November 2007, and being part of Team Peter Oyler for the Race Across America 2007 finishing as the top Canadian Team and 8th overall. |  | Steve has been in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer for 14 years. In the past 4 years, while pursuing a career as a firefighter, Steve continued to further his knowledge in fitness trends, sports therapy techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle living. Combined with receiving accreditation with CHEK Institute, Advanced Medical Response, International Firefighter Service and Technical Rescue Response - his clients of all abilities have been enlightened, educated and motivated by Steve to meet their own goals. Steve takes a holistic approach and his philosophy revolves around treating the body as a whole and finding the root cause of an issue or potential problem. With his guidance, his clients realize that they have choices with regards to their lifestyle and he himself exemplifies this through his own busy, fun and active lifestyle. Steve’s passion for fitness and healthy lifestyle living has led him to focus full time on his career as a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Coach.
